Notice of industrial action does not require a restrictive level of detail, the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission has held in refusing to grant permission to appeal a failed challenge to a notice.
The Senate is set to consider the Fair Work Amendment Bill 2013 (Bill) on Wednesday 19 June 2013.
The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has upheld an employee’s application under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) for constructive dismissal. The FWC found that the employer unreasonably refused the employee’s request for part-time work and that the employee was constructively dismissed.
The Western Australian (WA) minimum wage and state award rates will increase by $18.20 from 1 July 2013.
