Justice Kathleen Farrell has been appointed to serve as a judge on the Federal Court of Australia.

Justice Farrell has to date practised as a Solicitor specialising in corporate law and has been involved in some of Australia’s most high profile corporate law actions, eg the purchase of the east coast Seven television network, the privatisation and float of the TAB by the NSW Government and the float of Optus.
